After a three-year absence during Covid-19, our annual study abroad exhibition in Taiwan is back.

The 20th European Education Fair Taiwan will take place in Taipei on 4 and 5 November 2023, at the Taipei World Trade Centre.

The event, which promotes Europe as a study destination, has been one of the biggest educational events in Taiwan for many years. It's the only European education fair in Taiwan hosted by the British Council, Campus France and DAAD.

As one of the largest European education fairs in the Asia-Pacific region, past years have seen over 120 institutions from more than ten European countries participate.

And you will have the chance to connect with up to 10,000 visitors.

Background

Student Mobility from Taiwan to the UK

 - Over the past 12 years, 30,365 Taiwanese students have studied in the UK and graduated with UK higher education qualifications.

 - The education exchanges between Taiwan and UK dropped significantly in 2020-2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with the number of Taiwanese students in the UK decreasing by 55% to 4,264 in 2020/21.

 - However, a positive sign is that UK Visa issuance is nearly back to pre-Covid levels, with the number of UK visas issued in Taiwan for the 12-month period through to June 2022 at 92% of the 2019 figures.
