In February 2017 the British Council in Kazakhstan will run an essay competition within ShakespeareLives Project. The competition prize will be a two-week English language course in the UK.
The British Council is looking for an English language school based in UK to become a partner of the competition by providing the prize for the winner, which should include:
• Free place on a two-week English language course (General English, Business English or examinations preparation, depending on the winner’s preference) during the period April – May 2017
• Full board accommodation for the period of taking the language course (single room in a campus location with private facilities is preferred)
The partner school is welcome to include in this pack other additional offers.
The partner school will receive the following benefits for free in return for their donation:
• Mention of the school in promotional posts on the social media pages of the British Council reaching 45,000 people
• Mention of the school in one issue of the British Council monthly newsletter reaching 5,000 subscribers
• Placing of the school logo on web banners about the competition on popular Kazakhstan websites reaching approximately 100,000 people
• Mention and logo of the school on a dedicated competition page on the country website with 20,000 monthly visitors
• Mention of the school in letters to Kazakhstan educational authorities about the competition to distribute the information about the essay competition among schools and colleges
• Mention of the school in a blog post written and published by the winner in social media
