About the role
We are seeking four English language Training the Trainer of teachers to support the design and delivery of these training sessions in Algeria, by:
• developing and preparing the highest quality original materials for the training sessions focusing on designing and delivering communicative activities for the English classroom
• inputting solid academic theory to support use of communicative activities and ideas for practical, creative workshops to illustrate their use and how theory can be adapted to the classroom
• delivering input sessions based on the above
• running output sessions as a way to enable trainees to create effective INSETT training workshops for their teachers on communicative activities
• liaising with the other trainers and actively participating in a planning day to organise effective input and output sessions based on the objectives set by the Algerian Ministry of National Education
• drafting and submitting a final report about the training sessions by 10 April
• providing a short questionnaire to participants to gather feedback at the end of each session.

By the end of the training sessions, all participants are expected to have created workshops to deliver to their teachers and to have measurably improved their ability to design, deliver and disseminate communicative activities for the English classroom.

Timescales

• 19 March: arrive in Algeria
• 20 March: attend planning day with other trainers
• 21 March: travel to training location
• 22 March: start delivery of face-to-face training sessions. (Each trainer to deliver the training for 2 consecutive weeks).
