The British Council’s Education UK website is looking for profiles of boarding school staff and pupils for a ‘Meet your boarding school family’ article series on the Education UK website.
Education UK (www.educationuk.org) is the British Council’s website for international students interested in studying in the UK or taking a UK qualification overseas. The site caters for students interested in UK higher education, further education, boarding schools and English language centres. At present, our website receives more than 2.2 million visitors each year, and numbers are steadily rising, so this is a great chance for you to connect with students worldwide.
We are looking for staff testimonials from a number of STAFF MEMBERS with senior roles in the school or who are involved in pastoral care, e.g. Head teacher, heads of house, counsellors, careers advisers, librarians (full list of suggestions attached).
We are looking for testimonials from STUDENTS who have senior roles in the school or peer support roles, e.g.
• Prefect
• Head of house
• Head boy/girl
• Students in any other positions of authority or who have a role to support their peers (see attached document for full details)
They don’t have to be international students, but we’ll give preference to profiles from international students.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to Friday, 22 May 2015.
Please see attached word documents for full details and how to submit (there is one document for the staff opportunity and one for the student opportunity).
Feel free to extend this invitation to your press, marketing or academic colleagues, and please let your students know about the student opportunity.
There is no limit to the number of features you can submit.
