Spanish HE regulation is changing, which may affect centres offering UK degrees or HE programmes through TNE programmes (validation, franchise, articulation). The British Council, jointly with a group of centres offering UK qualifications in Spain would like to organise a workshop with three key objectives:
1.- Analyse the new regulation framework and how these new regulations will affect centres offering EU qualifications:
- Real Decreto 967/2014, (21 Nov 2014), for the recognition of qualifications.
- Real Decreto 420/2015 (29 May) of creation, recognition and authorisatio of Universities and University centres
- Real Decreto 1112/2015 (11 Dec 2015) that approves the Statute of Regional Quality & Evaluation Agencies,
2.- Identify concrete areas that are considered viable to propose modifications to the norm that make it better respect the autonomy of EU Universities willing to offer their qualifications in Spain.
3.- Discuss the possibility of creating an association that represents the interests of these centres
We would like this meeting to include as many Spanish institution offering UK HE qualifications as possible. Thanks for your help on this.
