One of the District Education Bureaus in Foshan City (the 3rd biggest economy in Guangdong province) in China is seeking a UK partner institution to co-operate with on arts education. They would like to start with a short-term training course on how to develop creativity through arts education during the Bureau’s annual student summer camp in Foshan.

Benefits for the UK partner

The UK partner will:

  • have the opportunity to potentially develop other collaboration with the Education Bureau  including, but not limited to, consultancy services on arts curriculum design, capacity building and teaching pedagogy
  • have the opportunity to send trainer(s) to China to teach as part of the summer camp, during which it will raise awareness of arts programmes of the UK institution, and preparing for future student recruitment.
  • receive financial reimbursement for the design and delivery of the training.

Areas of responsibilities for the two collaborating parties
