The British Council is pleased to invite contributions to an upcoming publication that will highlight best practices in alumni and industry engagement between the UK and East Asia.

This digital publication will be launched at our first East Asia Alumni UK Symposium in March 2025.

The goal is to showcase successful strategies, innovative approaches, and impactful initiatives that have strengthened connections between alumni, industries, and educational institutions in the UK and East Asia.

Contributions should address one or more of the following topics related to alumni and industry engagement between the UK and East Asia:

  1. Successful alumni engagement strategies
  2. Innovative Alumni Initiatives / Alumni Relations  
  3. Supporting UK graduate employability in East Asia
  4. Leveraging alumni networks and impact on industry engagement
  5. Emerging trends and future directions in alumni and industry engagement
  6. Successful philanthropic/funding drives in East Asia

We would like to encourage all UK practitioners, policymakers and institutions with interests and experiences to submit contributions for inclusion in the publication.

Contributions need to be received no later than 31 October 2024 and should be not be longer than 800 words. Accepted contributions will be compiled into a comprehensive publication that will be disseminated widely among relevant stakeholders in the UK and East Asia.

Contributors will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise and contribute to the collective knowledge base in alumni and industry engagement practices.
