The British Council aims to launch a digital publication on transnational education partnerships in East Asia as part of the thrid Think TNE Forum to be held in Malaysia in 2024.
The publication, called ‘UK-East Asia TNE Collaborations – Learnings and Reflections’, will be a series of short reflective articles to capture the UK’s track record of excellence over the past 25 years of collaborations with East Asian partners.
The series of articles will record best practises, challenges, successes and learnings under the following key headlines:
- setting up transnational education
- operating and managing transnational education partnerships
- growing and expanding transnational education programmes
- progressing beyond teaching collaborations
- ensuring high quality student and academic experiences
- maintaining (and the evolvement of) brand identity from a distance.
The Guidebook will consist of two parts:
- Part 1 – The East Asia[1] Chapter
- Part 2 - The Mainland China Chapter
We would like to encourage all UK practitioners and institutions with interests and experiences in transnational education to submit contributions for inclusion in the publication.
- Contributions can be in the form of case studies of specific UK transnational education partnerships with mainland China or other East Asian partners.
- Contributions need to be received no later than 31 October and should be no longer than 800 words each.[2]
We hope you will join us in highlighting the UK’s world-leading position in global transnational education through this publication.
If you are interested to contribute to the publication, please fill in this online form by 15 September 2023.
