The scope of the work covers the planning, leadership and management of two major activities: a comprehensive study/situation analysis and preparation of a national strategy for English language education development in Ethiopia. This is followed by a consultative national form which will further generate additional inputs for the preparation of the strategy. Based on the findings of the study and the feedbacks obtained from the national forum, there will follow the preparation and validation of the national strategy for mother tongue and English languages education development.
The consultancy firm is expected to have its own international and national core staff who will do the overall leadership, management and planning of the study and preparation of the strategy. Indeed, decision on the number of core staff will be the responsibility of the firm based on the demands of time and quality of the product. In line with timing, the project will be implemented between June 2017 and December 2017.
