Registrations are now open for UK institutions to join and contribute to a face-to-face UK-Spain Higher Education Partnerships Event, in Edinburgh on 9-10 May 2024.
This networking opportunity for staff from UK and Spanish institutions is aimed at those with responsibility for global engagement, development of internationalisation strategies, research and mobility.
About the event
Following an informal networking dinner on 9 May, with hospitality provided by SEPIE, participants will attend an all-day session on 10 May, including:
- an overview of models for partnerships, quality assurance frameworks and temperature checks for collaborations
- case studies of existing successful partnerships
- facilitated informal discussions to scope the needs, priorities and recommendations for potential collaborations
- event networking/speed-dating session.
The full programme will be shared at the end of March.
When registering, you will also have the chance to express any topics you'd like to cover, or any case studies you'd like to present, including:
- Undergraduate and PG TNE programmes
- PhD joint programmes
- short courses / micro-credentials / professional development
- joint presence
- delivery models
- independent and collaborative programmes (e.g. MBAs)
- research (including Horizon)
- staff development
- work-integrated learning.
Funding
Meals will be provided during the event.
Participants are expected to cover travel and accommodation costs.
