‘Connect the Dots’ - one of Vietnam’s biggest job fairs will take place this August in Hanoi. The event was first held in 2013 by British Council Vietnam and the UK Alumni Association in Vietnam aiming to connect Vietnamese UK graduates with big firms and help boost their career success.

Last year, there were 33 recruiters across a wide range of sectors that joined the fair, such as Prudential, Standard Chartered Bank, Microsoft, Deloitte, McKinsey&Company, IBM, Navigos, First Alliances, ICAEW, CPA, Worldquant, Vietnam Esports, Goldsun, Citibank, Saigon Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SHB), National Citizen Bank (NCB), EVN NPC (Northern Power Corporation), etc…. Following that success, this year’s event expects to attract over 30 prestigious companies, as well as more than 1,000 potential participants, around half of which includes UK alumni, graduates and undergraduates.

This is a chance for UK alumni and fresh graduates to gain a better understanding of the job market in Vietnam, find the right jobs that match their capabilities and skills, and network with business representatives who will be on site to provide information on job opportunities with their companies.

UK institutions are invited to circulate the event information to Vietnamese students and alumni. The registration should be made before 11.00 pm, 6 August 2017. Due to the limited seating, the registration will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
