Anhui University, based in Hefei, the provincial capital of Anhui province, is a Project 211 university, meaning it is a national key university and part of reforms aimed at raising research standards and cultivating national development strategies.

Anhui University HND Centre is looking for a UK partner to host a summer school English language programme for about 20 of its students.

Programme expectations

Length: ideally four weeks starting in July 2015
Participants: about 20 year one and year two HND students, mainly major in business
Budget: within £2,000 per student (including tuition and accommodation)
Content: English language training with academic English for year one students and courses aimed at IELTS 5.5 for year two students. Business lectures would be desirable.

Requirements for UK partner

- must be a UK university with UKVI Highly Trusted Sponsor status
- must have a strong record in teaching English.

Deadline: 18th February 2015

Please note the British Council is only involved in the provision of partnership brokering services. The final decision lies with the Chinese partner and will depend on the price quotation, programme design and content, programme location, teaching resources and other factors.

The British Council will charge £40 for each student enrolled on the programme as a service commission, which is payable by the proposal winner.
