British Council Vietnam is supporting UK Alumni association in Vietnam to organise two activities which are great opportunities for UK alumni and fresh graduates to gain a better understanding of the job market in Vietnam, talk directly with business representatives who will be on site to provide information on job opportunities with their companies, and apply for desired jobs. These activities are organised in the Study UK Fair 2019 on 5 & 6 October 2019. UK institutions are invited to circulate the event information to Vietnamese students and alumni.
1. Talk show ‘How your work can enrich your life’ on 5 October 2019
The event helps to inspire and orientate 350+ young people from UK alumni network and Vietnamese universities to the right career paths for themselves.
This is a community event, with the aim to inspire young people to find a job that can “ENRICH” their life. “Enrich” isn’t only about finance but also about achieving experiences, meaning and happiness in your life. This is a chance for Vietnamese young people to discover their passions, strengths and career paths that can help develop their lives through the sharing of our famous speakers, including:

- Mr Le Dang Khoa, Chairman Le Group Ventures
- Ms Le Hai Yen, Account Director, Ogilvy

2. Job Fair ‘Connect the Dots’ on 6 October in Hanoi
The event aims to connect Vietnamese UK graduates with big firms and help boost their career success. In 2017, there were 32 recruiters across a wide range of sectors that joined the fair, such as Standard Chartered, ICAEW, Unilever, WorldQuant, The Boston Consulting Group, FPT, KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, EY, etc…. Following that success, this year’s event expects to attract over 15 prestigious companies joining the job fair, the panel discussion with hot topics and experienced guest speakers, as well as private workshops which will provide latest updated information from top companies.
This is a chance for UK alumni and fresh graduates to gain a better understanding of the job market in Vietnam, find the right jobs that match their capabilities and skills, and network with business representatives who will be on site to provide information on job opportunities with their companies.
UK institutions are invited to circulate the event information to Vietnamese students and alumni. The registration should be made before 5 October 2019.
