The Career Counsellors Symposium is a two day conglomeration of career counsellors from across Pakistan with a role of supporting students interested in international education. This best practice sharing forum will not only contribute towards professional development of career counsellors and students advisors but will provide them with an opportunity to network with individuals in their relevant field.
Both days will be packed with productive and exciting opportunities for professional development through interactive and innovative sessions on a variety of topics as well as moderated discussions on pressing issues around counseling, career guidance, education, and employment trends. The sessions will help student counsellors acquire the art of counselling students in different developmental stages, personal circumstances and institutional settings.
We are extending an invitation to UK institutions to participate in the symposium by either sending speakers from their institutions, through recorded sessions or Video conference sessions. Local representatives of UK institutions can also be nominated to represent an institution to share their knowledge on a variety of topics, ranging from; rankings of institutions as well as university admission specific topics to other generic areas.
Benefits for UK Institutions:
- An opportunity to narrow the gap between institutions in the UK and Pakistan
- Contributes towards profile raising of an institution as the symposium is a great platform to market your institution’s strengths amongst the local market
- Promotion of a participating institution through media coverage of the event.
- An opportunity to have an understanding of the Pakistani education market and network with student advisors.
