The Canadian Bureau of International Education is the national voice promoting Canadian international education by mobilizing expertise, knowledge, opportunity and leadership.
CBIE hosts Canada’s International Conference, an essential meeting place for international educators, convening hundreds of delegates from across Canada and the world. The theme of 46th Annual Conference, in Montreal, Quebec in early November, is: A Fine Balance: Harmonizing International Education Policies and Practices.
As part of its Higher Education Series, The British Council is delivering a session at the CBIE conference called: The shape of things to come - future models for partnership strategies. The session will feature talks from distinguished Canadian and UK speakers including John Shaw, Pro-Vice Chancellor, International, University of East London, and Dr Brendan Barker, Head of International Development, University of Dundee.
