International Education Services Wider Europe team is requesting UK universities to complete our recently launched survey addressing admission and recruitment strategies during Covid-19.

The questions have been created to identify the main concerns of agents and school counsellors operating in Central Asia, Russia and Turkey – home to over 10 million students.

Despite earlier reports completed by education agents appearing unfavourable for the upcoming academic year,  only 15 per cent of students have cancelled, with 10 per cent deferring and around 20 per cent remaining uncertain due to Covid-19. Health and wellbeing is the most prevalent concern, with students and parents needing clearer messages to make a decision.

Through this survey we aim to promote UK universities quality of education, reinforcing that all required safety measures and student support is in place for the Autumn 2020 intake. The results will be shared with agents and school counsellors, students and other education stakeholders in the region.
