UK universities are invited to participate in the British Council’s China Schools Roadshow 2015, which is scheduled to take place in China from 20 October to 3 November. The roadshow, which was run successfully last year, is now open to applications from all UK universities.
The roadshow is designed specifically to provide UK universities with a platform to raise their profile in China, recruit prospective Chinese students, and build and strengthen links and relationships with schools in China. It will coincide with the China Education Expo 2015, which will run from 24 October to 1 November, a time when Chinese students will begin the decision-making process for overseas study.
Outline
The roadshow will consist of a seven-stop tour (itinerary below) to visit local schools in major student-sending cities across Mainland China and organise a series of promotional activities. Each stop will provide an opportunity to visit up to two schools, which will involve meetings with local school contacts to explore opportunities for partnership building, a 20-minute presentation to students (AS level and below or equivalent), in addition to a Q&A session and the distribution of promotional material. British Council staff will be on hand to answer general enquiries.
