A delegation from Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, East China will be visiting the UK in the middle of September 2015 and wishes to meet with UK schools and higher education providers to explore opportunities for Sino-UK collaboration.

About Ningbo:
• Ningbo is the second largest economy in Zhejiang Province, after its provincial capital Hangzhou.
• It is a major deep-sea container port in eastern China, whose main industries, which closely relate to the function of the port, include: Shipping, ship building, petrochemicals, oil refining as well as offshore wind and tidal power.
• It has a highly active private sector economy that contributed 70 per cent of GDP in 2014
• The University of Nottingham Ningbo China was the first Sino-foreign university to open its doors in China. It was established by the University of Nottingham and Zhejiang Wanli Education Group in 2004.
