We are pleased to invite UK institutions to host a visit by a delegation of Russia press, which will take place from 12 to 15 November 2013.
Aim
Russia is a big recruiting market for ELT sector with a good potential for further development. In order to promote English language and UK as a study destination, Russian team organises a press tour for four to stimulate market demand for learning English in the UK. The group will be accompanied by one member of British Council staff.
Through this mission, we aim to promote awareness and develop a greater understanding of ELT sector availability and opportunities in the UK amongst potential students and their parents.
Targeted institutions in the UK
British Council Russia will be organising several press visits during the year, for November visit we are looking for English Language schools in London area, near Oxford, Cambridge, Bath.
The group will visit four institutions.
Benefits
- The media participating in the press tour are journalists from the leading general interest and business media which have strong web presence in Russia. Hence, this is a highly attractive event in terms of raising your profile and brand awareness in Russia.
- We also aim to promote individual institutions who will be taking part in this activity. After the visit the journalists will publish feature stories about each institution they visited, and your institution will benefit from enhanced exposure in these publications. The approximate PR value of these publications is 51 000 GBP.
How to participate?
Participation fee for press tour is 1094 GBP (excluding VAT) per institution covering the direct costs of this visit. We would be grateful if each hosting institution can provide accommodation for one night for the group of five people, transfer from/to rail station if applicable and lunch during the visit.
