Qatar Foundation Research & Development invites you to submit an abstract on original research to be considered for oral or poster presentation at the Qatar Foundation Annual Research Conference (QF-ARC) on November 24-25, 2013. This is an opportunity for all researchers with QNRF grants to showcase how Qatar is addressing future needs through research today.
Following on the success of last year’s Annual Research Forum that focused on the Launch of the Qatar National Research Strategy, the theme of this year’s conference will be Qatar’s Cross-cutting Research Grand Challenges. Your submissions can be on or related to one or more of Qatar’s Research Grand Challenges. These cross-cutting grand challenges are related to the following four thematic pillars defined in Qatar’s National Research Strategy:
- Energy and Environment
- Health and Biomedical
- Computing and Information Technology
- Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities
All submissions can be made online through our submission system. Abstracts can be submitted in either Arabic or English and are limited to a maximum of 500 words. Supporting figures and tables may be included. Each abstract should represent original work which has not been published or presented elsewhere. The deadline for abstract submission is Tuesday 10th September 2013 at 12:00 midday Doha time (AST) and the review outcome will be conveyed towards the end of September 2013.
