Partnerships are a key component of British Council's Higher Education (HE) programme in Nigeria. In 2018, following a series of British Council facilitated sessions between HE stakeholders from UK and Nigerian universities, three UK/Nigeria cross institutional partnerships were successfully launched. These partnerships were established to:
- Promote the exchange of knowledge skills and expertise
- Support institutional level reform and sharing of best practice with the aim of influencing whole-system reform.
