British Council Vietnam, with strong support from Tate & Lyle, has run the Higher Education Leadership and University Management programme to support the National Higher Education reform agenda and the Internationalisation of Higher Education Institutions in Vietnam for the past 2 years.

The programme aims at building capacity for HE leaders who are Vice Dean, Dean and above from Vietnamese HE institutions. This is also to prepare them for the increasingly challenging roles of the universities and to ensure that they have the skills to lead, and the best may become the sector’s effective senior leaders of tomorrow.

The British Council Vietnam is planning for the third course in 2015, and would like to call for expressions of interest from UK Higher Education Institutions in delivering and hosting module 2 and 3 of the training course.

Potential benefits from the UK HEIs: raise profile and build up the network with leaders in Vietnamese HEIs which may result in fruitful partnerships and long-term collaboration.
