British Council China has organised a series of technology transfer activities in Chongqing municipality and Wuxi city respectively in collaboration with local partners of Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology and Wuxi Association for Science and Technology over the past two years. Through events like one-to-one meetings, symposiums and field visits to local enterprises and universities etc., eight UK universities have set up varied programmes with Chinese universities and enterprises. Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology also organized a reciprocal visit to the UK to firm up different programmes with the UK universities in January.

Building on the successful previous events, British Council China is now calling for expressions of interest from the UK higher education institutions in the second round of UK-Chongqing and UK-Wuxi Collaboration on Technology Transfer programmes. This year, the programmes in Chongqing and Wuxi will be organized back to back in November, so that you have the options to join programmes in either two cities or one in just one trip to China.

The Wuxi event is scheduled on 16 and 17 November 2013, below is the link to its proposal:
