The British Embassies in Finland and Sweden will participate in higher education exhibitions from 27-30 November.  UK universities are invited to promote the UK education offer to a vibrant, informed, well-financed and UK-friendly Nordic market.

The stand at Helsinki’s, Studia 2018 (27-28 November) will promote student recruitment and as a base for Embassy arranged activities. The event aims to attract 15,000 students looking to explore study options at all levels.

In Stockholm, Sweden’s largest HE student fair is run by SACO 28-30 November.  22,700 students are expected to attend the event, mainly looking to explore study options at undergraduate level, study abroad courses and vocational training options. University representatives can opt to deliver short lectures at the exhibitions to reinforce messages to a wide range of students, and Embassy staff will be on hand to help respond to questions about study opportunities in the UK post-EU exit.

Potential participants should note that these exhibitions overlap on 28th November.  To attend both, participants will need to tailor their attendance, eg by splitting staffing between the two events that day. Separate participation is also welcome at each fair and if numbers permit, extra activities will be organized around the events.
