On 7 May 2020 the British Council USA held a virtual market briefing which focused on the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on US student recruitment and mobility. We typically hold a market briefing at the beginning of NAFSA's Annual Conference for UK universities, so this year we are offering a market briefing virtually for earlier in May due to the circumstances. We heard from a couple of different organisations during the briefing, including IIE, NACAC and UKVI. IIE shared about the results of their IIE Covid-19 Snapshot Survey focused on student mobility, NACAC updated us on their and their members’ perspectives during this time and UKVI gave us an update on student visas. We have included a link to the recording and a copy of the slides for those who weren't able to join us.
