British Council announces the UK Alumni Digital Innovation Fund. This new initiative by the British Council is a part of the celebration of 2016 UK-India Year of Education Research and Innovation.
The UK Alumni Digital Innovation Fund aims to promote and fund innovative digital ideas that will facilitate expansion of UK alumni membership and help alumni associations in India be self-sustainable. The Association of British Scholars (ABS) chapters in India, and other UK university associations in India are eligible to bid for this competitive fund.
We look forward to innovative projects that would build connections between alumni and current students to foster a sense of community and continuity between generations, and would provide opportunities to facilitate personal and professional connections among new and old UK alumni and students.
We encourage UK institutions to come up with novel digital projects that are practical and have potential for wider alumni reach in India and may also in the UK.
