The British Council USA team are excited to announce the British Council’s activities at the upcoming 2013 NAFSA conference in St Louis, Monday 27 – Friday 31 May 2013.
Institutions are invited to register for the UK pavilion in the NAFSA Exposition Hall. Expressions of interest to participate in the British Council’s wrap around activities are called for at this time.
The NAFSA Annual Conference brings together more than 8,500 professionals in the field of international education for five packed days of training workshops, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and special events. The NAFSA Annual Conference is the place to connect with more international education professionals than you'll find at any other conference in the world.

Pavilion 2013 | British Council Wrap Around Programme |
---|---|
Last year’s pavilion was a huge success with 22 institutions participating in the pavilion. We had 500+ visitors to the booth and our capacity-breaking networking teas were attended by over 200 people, including Andrew Millar, the British Consul General Houston. For St Louis we will be offering a newly redesigned (see attached) pavilion providing a clearly identifiable space in the busy NAFSA expo hall for UK institutions sponsored by the GREAT campaign. Why Institutions should join the pavilion:
| The British Council will also be organising the following wrap-around activity. This activity is open to all UK institutions participating in NAFSA in 2013 with priority given to Pavilion attendees.

Due to the time constraints we cannot run a normal online application process as we would do for typical exhibitions (Nigeria, Mexico, Malaysia etc.). If you are interested please complete the attached word document and return to me at your earliest convenience. There are only a guaranteed 20 places available on the British Council pavilion and so they will go quickly.
At the moment this is an EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST ONLY. You are not committing at this stage – a further application will be required – we just want to make sure that we can cope with the anticipated numbers before formally accepting applications.
For those who have not attended a NAFSA event previously – please read the information supplied at the link above. This is not a student-facing recruitment exhibition.
If you are interested in joining the British Council/GREAT pavilion, please complete the attached form and submit to Joseph.Kirk@britishcouncil.org and Stephen.Farnsworth@britishcouncil.org.
