British Council Bahrain and the Bahrain English Language Teaching Professionals Network are pleased to invite UK universities, colleges and ELT providers to participate in their 8th annual Bahrain ELT Conference, taking place on Saturday, 2 November 2019.

The annual Bahrain English Language Teaching (ELT) Conference launched in 2011 and grew to be one of the largest platforms for ELT Professionals in the Gulf to keep up to date with global ELT trends, gain skills and network.

Under various themes touching pressing issues in the ELT field, the annual conference attracts more than 350 professionals from Bahrain, the Gulf and wider MENA region. Attendees have the opportunity to attend various theoretical and practical sessions, interact with international speakers and stay up to date with ELT publication via the side exhibition that leading international publishers and educational institutions take part of.

Held under the theme Learner Engagement, this year’s conference will witness plenary sessions by leading ELT speakers Scott Thornbury and Dr Paula Rebolledo and 24 breakout sessions delivered by speakers from Bahrain and the MENA region
.
The conference is one of the initiatives of Bahrain ELT Professionals Network; supported by the British Council. It is an educational body which aims to create training opportunities for teachers of English to enhance their professional practices and adopt better teaching methods through the exchange of ideas and classroom experiences.

The conference is a great opportunity for leading UK education institutions to showcase their courses and degrees for ELT professionals. Stands at the exhibition are for £600 and booklet ads start from £200.
