Anyang Normal University (ANU) is looking for UK partners to develop and deliver undergraduate articulation programmes in the fields of early childhood education, musicology and visual communication design for undergraduate degrees.

This is an opportunity for the selected UK partner to establish a long-term partnership with a leading comprehensive university in Henan Province, with potential for expansion into other fields, such as student and faculty exchange programmes or joint research. It is also an opportunity for UK partners to raise their institutions’ profiles and brand awareness in China, which may benefit student recruitment.

Areas of responsibility for the two collaborating partners

The selected UK partners will be expected to work with ANU to:

  • develop the curricula for the joint programmes
  • provide support in the quality assurance of the programmes
  • issue a bachelor’s degree to students who successfully complete the programme.

Anyang Normal University will be responsible for:

  • promoting and recruiting students for the programmes
  • providing qualified teaching staff as well as the required teaching premises and logistical support for the joint programmes
  • supporting prospective students in preparing to study in the UK as part of the programmes

About Anyang Normal University

Anyang Normal University is a province-managed institution of higher learning accredited by the Ministry of Education.

The university was founded in 1908 and currently has 25,000 full-time students from across China. There are 1,300 staff employed by ANU, including over 450 professors and associate professors, and over 900 instructors with doctoral degrees and material degrees. At present, ANU offers one postgraduate programme and 61 undergraduate programmes, which cover nine disciplines including literature, history, science, engineering, education, law, economics, management and art. ANU has cooperative relationships with over 20 higher education institutions worldwide.
