The British Business Awards (BBA) is an important set of honours that is awarded every two year to highlight the strong links between China and the UK and to reward innovation, enterprise and endeavour in the fields of business, education and corporate social responsibility. The BBA is led by the British Chamber of Commerce in China and is supported by the British Council China, British Embassy and several other UK organisations in China.

As we did previously, the British Council China will sponsor the ‘Alumnus of the Year Award’ of BBA again in to recognise and reward Chinese UK alumni with positive influence that UK education and culture has had on their chosen occupation. Judges will look for evidence of individualism, knowledge and skill, as well as enthusiasm, confidence and independence.

It also presents a good opportunity to raise profile of UK education among wider Chinese public. Please see more details about BBA on its official website of BBA at www.britishbusinessawards.cn or www.educationuk.org/china

The closing date for entries is 27 July 2012.
