About Global Education Dialogues

The Global Education Dialogue brings people together to debate the challenges and opportunities facing international higher education. By encouraging dialogue between governments, universities, business and industry, we can explore the shifting expectations, responsibilities and contributions from our network of leading-edge thinkers.

This year for the first time, British Council Thailand with support from Research and Researcher for Industry (RRi), Thailand Research Fund, will host a conference on “Co-innovation for Social and Economic Growth” on 13 and 14 February 2014 in Phuket, Thailand.

The conference will look at the opportunities and challenges in utilising findings from research for the benefit of the community, society, and the national economy. It will explore how academic research can work with industry, entrepreneurs and the government to find innovative ways to collaborate.
Participants will include world-renowned educators, policy makers and influential thought-leaders in British higher education and from the region.
