The 13th SHARE Policy Dialogue - University and Employer Engagement to Enhance Graduate Employability in ASEAN

The European Union Support to Higher Education in the ASEAN Region (SHARE) Programme is pleased to invite you to the 13th edition of its Policy Dialogue series with the theme:

University and Employer Engagement to Enhance Graduate Employability in ASEAN
23^rd-25^th November 2021, 14.00 - 17.00 Jakarta Time, online.

ASEAN youth have the potential to contribute significantly to job creation, innovation, and advancing the socio-economic progress of ASEAN, yet the impact of COVID-19 may hinder them from getting access to education and employment. Ensuring a resilient environment for graduate employability is therefore significant. The SHARE Programme supports this effort through strengthening the cooperation and coordination with various regional stakeholders, including academia and employers. 

SHARE will bring together alumni, higher education and private sector representatives to propose strategies to enhance graduate employability in ASEAN.

The EU Ambassador to ASEAN, H.E. Mr Igor Driesmans, and the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, H. E. Mr Ekkaphab Phanthavong, will open the three days of exchanges.

Plenary sessions will focus on the following three key topics:

• The contribution of internationalisation to graduate employability;
• The nexus of university and employer collaboration;
• Industry 4.0 and graduate skills.
