The University of Economics and Law (UEL) in Ho Chi Minh city, Viet Nam is looking for UK partners to develop transnational education (TNE) programmes in Law, International Business, Marketing, and Ecommerce.
About UEL
UEL is the centre for training and scientific research in the fields of economics, law and management assigned by the Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM). It was accredited at institutional level through the criteria of the Ministry of Education and Training in 2017 and seven study programmes are accredited at programme level through AUN-QA’s criteria (Asian University Network- Quality Assurance). These include the programmes of Economics, External Economics, Economics and Public Management, Finance - Banking, Accounting, Business Administration, Civil Law. Thanks to these achievements of UEL, in 2020 VNU-HCM was the only higher education system ranked 601 + by Time Higher Education in Viet Nam in the field of business and economics.
The university has nine faculties including: Faculty of Economics, Faculty of International Economic Relations, Faculty of Finance and Banking, Faculty of Accounting and Auditing, Faculty of Management Information System, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Economics Mathematics, Faculty of Civil Law and Faculty of Economic Law. There are 49 undergraduate study programs for more than 10,256 students and nine postgraduate study programs. Currently, the University has 244 doctors and more than 839 masters students in the total number of 1,083 postgraduate students.
UEL is implementing the "UEL Digital Transformation Project" with a vision to make UEL a digital university in 2027. The first part of this project has already been done, which was a self-assessment of UEL Digital Maturity based on the Deloitte and TM Forum and World Bank frameworks.
