Newton-Mosharafa is the UK-Egypt £20million, 5 year programme to improve the science, research and innovation relationship between the two countries. It will include PhD scholarships, joint research funding, professional development for researchers and knowledge transfer schemes. The Fund is focused on 5 priority themes: water, agriculture, renewable energy, affordable healthcare and cultural heritage / archaeology.
