Comment:
The new list of courses was the result of recent review done by the Manpower Policy and Planning Unit to include projected manpower requirements in various industries prioritized by the government. Further changes on the loan scheme are still expected and await final approval. To better assist the students, UK institutions are suggested to provide detailed information on course modules and structure if requested as this would be a deciding factor for the loan committee approval. Also, institutions are encouraged to highlight any scholarships and tuition fee discounts offered to international students as more students are becoming cost conscious.
