The scholarship opportunity requires a national examination and is now open to PhDs exclusively, with the exception of candidates wishing to pursuit a master’s degree in arts and architecture. There are more than 15 subject areas of research offering over 100 places to do PhDs at world-class study destinations.

In response to Taiwan’s development needs, new areas are also covered under the scholarship, including Middle East/South East Asia studies, energy technology, robotic and automation, demography and disease control/prevention.

Further details on eligibility will be released by the Ministry of Education in late June. In the meantime please flag up the opportunity to your current and perspective postgraduate students by sharing the link below.
