Malaysia and Vietnam Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in higher education that includes exchange of academic staff, experts and students between the two countries' institutions of higher learning. One of the objectives of the MoU was to increase the number of Vietnamese students at the private higher learning institutions in Malaysia from over 500 currently to about 5,000.  This will be a favourable condition for UK institutions to attract Vietnamese students to their campuses in Malaysia, reports Bernama.
