Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) announced the “Integrated Master-Doctoral Program’ (IMD) on 18 December 2019.
This programme is designed to provide the best students from Indonesian Islamic Higher Education Institutions with an opportunity to pursue a Master’s and Doctoral degree in overseas universities.
Kamaruddin Amin, the Director General of Islamic Education at MORA, stated that the scholarships will be offered and available for applicants who can complete their Master’s and Doctoral degrees within four and a half years or an equivalent of nine semesters.
Beneficiaries of the “Integrated Master-Doctoral Program’ (IMD) scholarships, will on completion of their degrees, be required to return to Indonesia to work with “Islamic Religious Higher Education” (PTKI).
