Apart from working with the UK for promoting education and collaborations between the institutions from both countries, the Indian Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be working with Canada.

Recently the Indian Government has given its approval to renew a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Canada that will improve the education partnerships between the two countries. The MoU was first signed in 2010 for a period of 5 years with a view to improve the co-operation in Higher Education. The MoU was renewed with an aim to further strengthen the bilateral ties in Higher Education and Research between the two countries.

Collaborations have been on the agenda for the Indian Government lately. The UK-India Year of Education and Research has opened up opportunities for UK institutions to establish collaborations with local institutions. SIEM India has regular interactions with the local institutions and can facilitate collaboration opportunities. Please write to Shruti Khanna copying SIEM South Asia for any collaboration related queries.
