IIT-Kharagpur school to have US flavour - The Times of India
IIT Kharagpur's upcoming school of medical technology will receive guidance from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). The American University will help shape the school by providing assistance in the curriculum, equipment and training of academics. This is the first of its kind in the IIT system. UCSD now has an Indian chancellor.

Surge of Indian Grad Students
According to a new survey on international graduate admissions from the Council of Graduate Schools, international student applications have increased by 10 percent at American graduate schools this year. The number of applications have increased from India; despite a slight drop in applications from China.

Australian students to intern in Indian companies – Business Standard
'The New Colombo Plan' says that Undergraduate students in Australian universities may soon have an opportunity to pursue internship programmes in India, this plan is a signature initiative of the Australian Government which aims to lift knowledge of the Indo Pacific in Australia by supporting Australian undergraduates to study and undertake internships in the region. The plan will encourage a two-way flow of students , complementing the thousands of students from the region coming to Australia to study each year.
