The European Union has rolled out a new €205 million programme with Economic Relations Department of Bangladesh to strengthen the education sector in Bangladesh.
The budget will be spent on primary education, technical and vocational education and training (TVET) and for complementary technical assistance. This demonstrates the EU’s continued commitment towards developing Bangladesh’s education sector.
The ultimate beneficiary of this investment will be Bangladesh's young population as the projects aim to deliver improved quality education and training.
Education development programmes like this one by donor organisations will create better quality graduates in the Bangladesh market who will then qualify and prepare for international education opportunities.
