According to a survey from zhaopin.com, some second- and third-tier cities are more attractive for this year's college graduates. Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, and Xi'an are the top 10 cities where 2012's college graduates want to work. Compared with 2011's data, they are no longer interested in the first-tier cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Chengdu moves in to this "first group" and even surpasses Shenzhen. 21,997 2012 college graduates took part in the survey. The survey also indicated the factors college graduates are most interested in when finding a job. 51.4 per cent of them put "career development” in the first position. 46.2 per cent of them emphasize "salary and welfare." 22.6 per cent of them prefer "place of employment." It is a trend that more and more college graduates are electing to return to their hometowns to find a job. Reports www.cyol.com.
