A leading chain of hospitality management institutions in Switzerland with campuses in seven countries across Europe is considering collaborations with Indian institutions. 15% of their international students are Indians and they have a strong alumni network of 400 Indians.

They plan to set collaborative arrangements in Indian hotels, and in the travel and tourism sector. The institution plans to meet representatives of the Indian hospitality sector including educational institutions and entrepreneurs. The representatives from Sommet Education feel that India is not a new market for student recruitment and it will be worth working towards collaborations to get more Indians to study at their campuses.

This market trend offers a great opportunity for UK institutions in the field of hospitality, travel and tourism. British Council is organising a subject tour in hospitality and tourism from 13 to 16 February 2018 in cities of Kolkata and Bangalore. You may also explore the opportunity independently through a bespoke tour organised by us. To know more and to register your interest in the February tour please write to Shruti Khanna cc SIEM South Asia
