A 50-member Indo-Canadian trade delegation has participated in the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Vibrant Gujarat Summit held in Gandhinagar. A top official has announced that Canada will need to structure its reforms and immigration policies to attract international students and consider them for granting permanent residency rights.
The vision upholds the students must be given permanent residency rights on completion of their studies as existing immigration policy is vague on this subject.
