The Council of Ministers on Sunday endorsed an executive plan and measures to reform education and vocational and technical training in the Kingdom, allocating JD24 million from the Development and Employment Fund to the plan.

The reform programme aims to ensure coordination, planning and funding among all institutions tasked with vocational training, while maintaining the executive tasks of each institution to create more jobs for the Jordanian youth, Petra added.

The plan is in line with government policies which seek to increase recruitment rates in order to achieving economic growth as stipulated in the National Strategy for Human Resources Development.
