Times Higher Education (THE) recently released its Asia University Rankings 2020. Amongst 489 institutions from 30 countries, 56 Indian institutions qualified for the list with eight in the top 100. India has secured third position as most represented country.
The ranking is based on performance in five areas: teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income (knowledge transfer).
