Following the guidelines of University Grants Commissions (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has instructed institutions to start PGDM/ PGCM classes from 1 July for existing students and 1 August for new students. For other technical courses classes will commence from 1 August for existing students and 1 September for new students. Moreover, it has instructed the affiliated institutions not to hike fees or pressurise students for advanced fee payment during the nationwide lockdown.  

AICTE is the statutory body and a national-level council for technical education, under Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource.

To facilitate undisrupted education of students, it has recently launched 49 online courses which includes programmes like Certified Full Stack Engineer, Digital Marketing, Java Programming, Diploma in Machine Learning with R studio, Online Internship in Financial Analysis Basics, -line Engineering Teaching Resources, among others.
