Nearly 1.76 million people signed up for the graduate school entrance exams in 2013, up by 104,000 from 1.66 million in 2012. Universities enrolled 517,000 graduate school students in 2012. The enrollment rate was 31 per cent. In some advanced countries, the elimination rate of postgraduate education is 20 per cent to 30 per cent. It is only five per cent in China. So, the quality of master-degree graduates is not as good as those in foreign countries. Reports China Education Daily
