Under the Education Ministry's vocational education transformation programme, 78 vocational schools are upgraded to colleges in line with the ministry’s decision to promote vocational education.
Ahmad Tajudin Jab, the ministry's technical and vocational education division director also said that they look forward to collaborating with private colleges, especially in high impact fields such as oil and gas, biotechnology and renewable energy, writes Winston Way for The New Straits Times.
