Webinars for students and institutions: Opportunity for UK HEIs to have online engagement with prospective students in India

Introduction

IES team is organizing a webinar series for UK institutions from August to October 2019.

The webinar series is an opportunity for academics from UK institutions to engage with prospective students through online media without disturbing the busy schedule of daily lectures. During the webinars UK academics can connect with local institutions and students by delivering a web-seminar on pre-agreed topic at an agreed time and date.

Aims

The main aim of the webinar is to counsel prospective students about the range of courses available in a specific subject along with its prospective career opportunities and to give UK academics an understanding of the student market.

British Council team has already connected with the potential Indian higher education institutions across cities in India to understand their requirements with regards to subject areas for the webinars. UK institutions can choose from the below list of local institutions and confirm the preferred date and the topics of webinars.

We aim to reach a minimum of 30 to 50 students per Indian institution.
